Are
you a Clinical Support Worker who wants to make a difference?
We're
looking for enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Support Workers to join
Speciality and Integrated Medicine (SIM) ward J15.
Ward
J15 is a 28 bedded older adult medical ward. We are dedicated to providing high
quality care to the older generations of Leeds.
The
successful candidates will need to have a proven track record of providing safe
and compassionate care to their patients. Excellent inter-personal skills are
essential. A positive and flexible style and approach is necessary, and you
must be a team player.
Main duties of the job
You
will be required to work as part of a friendly and supportive team who are
creative and enthusiastic, with a track record of continually improving
performance.
You
will be actively involved in providing direct and indirect compassionate care
for patients in support of the multidisciplinary team. You will undertake a
range of delegated clinical patient care duties and can be expected to work
under direct or indirect supervision by a registered practitioner.
The
jobholder will assist in the overall implementation and evaluation of care as
part of the multi professional team. The jobholder is expected to plan,
implement, deliver and maintain high standards of patient care. The jobholder
will be skilled in taking appropriate action(s) and acting on own initiative
to achieve the planned outcome.
The
jobholder will be expected to practice in accordance with Trust policies,
guidelines, standards and statutory requirements and operate within defined
competency boundaries.
