Job summary
We are keen to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Clinical Support Worker to our team. Knowledge of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. Telephone experience is preferred and a commitment to excellent patient care and the Leeds Way are essential. The working hours are Monday to Friday within office hours and we are based in Chancellors Wing at St James University Hospital. Flexible working & part-time working will be considered.

This post is a part time role of 22.5 hours per week. This post is not eligible for sponsorship as it does not meet the UKVI salary eligibility.
Main duties of the job
The jobholder will be actively involved in providing direct and indirect compassionate care for patients in support of the multidisciplinary team. The jobholder will undertake a range of delegated clinical patient care duties under the support and supervision of a registered practitioner.
The jobholder will assist in the overall implementation and evaluation of care as part of the multi professional team. The jobholder is expected to plan, implement, deliver and maintain high standards of patient care. The jobholder will be skilled in taking appropriate action(s) and acting on own initiative to achieve the planned outcome.
The jobholder will contribute to the maintenance of an environment for effective care.
