fantastic exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen at Chapel Allerton
Hospital. We are currently looking for dynamic self-motivated Band 5 Staff
Nurses to join our team on ward C5 Day Case Unit. We are looking for
enthusiastic individual to ensure expert high-quality care is delivered.
C5
is a busy Rheumatology/Dermatology/IBD Day Case Infusion Unit. The unit is open
from Monday to Friday, 08:00 18:00. We do not open weekends and bank
holidays. Typically, we look after more than 50 patients on IV infusions daily.
C5 is nurse led ward and has recently merged with Gastroenterology/IBD from
01/07/2025.
C5
has vacancies for 2 Band 5 nurses, we are looking for individuals who are
committed to providing an excellent service.
An
opportunity to gain Chemotherapy competencies for non-oncology patients,
cannulation & venepuncture. Excellent communication skills are essential to
work alongside the Leeds Way values to support safe and effective patient care.

Main duties of the job
The jobholder will play an essential role
treating patients with a bay of patients on each shift. Administering
Intravenous & Sub cutaneous medications. You will treat a wide range of
conditions including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus, Connective tissue disease,
Urticaria, & Crohns

- Has current registration on the appropriate part of the NMC register.
- Willing to undergo training as necessary
- Able to fulfil Occupational Health requirements for the post.
- Ability to travel in between Trust premises and patient homes for posts that involve community visits
- Able to fulfil Occupational Health requirements for the post (with reasonable adjustments if necessary), including clearance on blood borne viruses in compliance with Trust Policy
