Main duties of the job
Are

looking for three enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Support Workers to join
Ward J43 within Specialty and Integrated Medicine (SIM). Ward J43 is a
24-bedded, medical based ward where each
day brings new challenges and opportunities. We pride ourselves on delivering
safe, compassionate, and high-quality care and were looking for people who
share our values.
We
are seeking individuals with a genuine passion for patient care and wellbeing,
a proven ability to provide safe and compassionate support, excellent
interpersonal skills, and a team-focused mindset. A positive, flexible approach
and a willingness to go the extra mile are essential.
As
a valued member of our friendly and supportive team, you will be involved in
both direct and indirect patient care, working alongside the multidisciplinary
team to make every patients stay as comfortable and positive as possible. You
will deliver a range of delegated clinical care duties under the guidance of
registered practitioners, plan and implement high standards of care, use your
initiative to respond to patients needs, and contribute to a safe, supportive,
and effective care environment. Whether on the ward, in a clinical department,
or in a community setting, you will be part of a team that values
collaboration, kindness, and continuous improvement.

Essential
- NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support or equivalent health care related qualification
- The Care Certificate or in the absence of this the applicant must successfully attain the Care Certificate within the first 3 months of employment.
- Commitment to undergo training and education as required
Desirable
- Basic skills Maths and English Level 1 (equivalent of GCSE 1-9 (A*-G))

- Significant experience of working within a healthcare setting delivering clinical and or personal care
