Job summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a caring and compassionate clinical support worker to join the team on Ward L24.
L24 is a regional 32-bed ward care predominantly for female neurosurgical and spinal patients. The ward sits in the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trusts Centre for Neurosciences (CfN) Clinical Services Unit (CSU), whose catchment area is a wide swathe of Yorkshire.
Within your role, you will support patients and colleagues in the provision of individualised, high-quality compassionate care and act as a positive role model for your colleagues. You will be supported in your career development including appraisal opportunities and further training.

Main duties of the job
The jobholder will be actively involved in providing direct and indirect compassionate care for patients in support of and supervised by a registered practitioner.
The jobholder will assist in the overall implementation of care as part of the multi professional team. The jobholder is expected to deliver and maintain high standards of acute and planned care. The jobholder will be skilled in taking appropriate action(s) to achieve the planned outcome.
The jobholder will contribute to the maintenance of an environment for effective care.
The jobholder will be expected to practice in accordance with Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust (LTHT) policies, guidelines, standards and statutory requirements and operate within defined competency boundaries.
The jobholder will work within a ward or clinical department.
