Job summary
The Leeds NHS Trust is a leading provider of specialist womens health services in West Yorkshire, and places great emphasis upon maintaining a high level of patient care.
We are looking for a caring, compassionate nurse with excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm and aptitude to learn new skills. You will work within a Multidisciplinary team and therefore should have a proven record of being a good team player but equally have the ability to work independently. Full training will be given.
This is a full-time position to cover the service Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and Saturday clinic cover.
The Trust is not currently running an International Nurse Recruitment programme and therefore, applicants are required to have current UK NMC registration with evidence of registrant clinical practice in the UK or a final year Nursing student. If you are due to join the NMC register in the next couple of months please make this clear in your application.

Main duties of the job
To provide and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised programmes of care.
To deliver care without supervision.
To take charge of the ward or department as necessary in the absence of the Sister or Charge Nurse.
To participate in the in-service training, preceptor ship and mentorship of junior staff, post basic learners and students.
To take responsibility as the prime care provider for a group of patients.
To promote confidence in our commitment to provide excellent compassionate patient care.
To maintain personal development.
