This
is a fantastic opportunity for highly motivated Registered Nurses to join the
team working within one of the UK's leading Interventional Cardiology Centres.
We are looking for Registered Nurses with a can do attitude who will deliver
quality services with compassion.
These
posts are being offered to support our newly renovated cardiac catheter labs
and 8 bedded recovery unit. With the highest spec and state of the art
equipment to transform our department into a coveted place to work and a
welcoming environment for our patients.
Successful
applicants will become part of a multi-professional team caring for patients
undergoing a variety of emergency, urgent and elective cardiac procedures
including interventional and primary PCI, TAVI, Pacing and Catheter Ablation.
The
position will involve working bank holidays, weekends and nights on-call.

Main duties of the job
Previous
experience of working within a Cardiac Catheter Laboratory is not essential as
a full training programme will be offered on successful appointment.
A
minimum 6-month post registration is essential.

quality patient care. This role will also provide the opportunity to develop
leadership skills within a forward thinking dynamic team.
To
provide and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and
evaluation of individualised programmes of care.
To
deliver care without supervision.
To
take charge of the department as necessary in the absence of the Sister or
Charge Nurse.
To
participate in the in-service training, preceptorship and mentorship of junior
staff, post basic learners and students.
To
take responsibility as the prime care provider for a group of patients.
