Job summary
We are seeking to employ enthusiastic and motivated Band 3 Clinical Support Workers for the Cardiac wards L14, L16 and L18.
Ward L14 is a day case and overnight facility caring for patients undergoing for cardiac intervention procedures.
Ward L16 cares for patients undergoing major cardiac surgery and cardiology patients awaiting surgery.
L18 is a 28 bedded unit that provides care for a wide range of acutely ill adults from the local Leeds community and across West and North Yorkshire.
The successful candidates will have a proven track record of providing safe and compassionate care to patients. You must possess excellent inter-personal skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team. You must have a positive outlook and be committed to delivering the highest possible standard of care to all patients.

Main duties of the job
You will be required to work as part of a friendly and supportive team who are creative and enthusiastic, with a track record of continually improving performance. We are seeking individuals with a passion for interventional/surgical nursing to support the delivery of a high-quality service that enhances patient safety and the patient experience. As part of the role, you will be undertaking various skills including venepuncture, cannulation, and recording 12 Lead ECGs. In the absence of the attained competencies, the role holder will be supported with training.
