We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated Senior Clinical Support Workers to join our existing team that covers the Leeds Chest clinic and Bronchoscopy.
The successful candidates will have a proven track record of providing safe and compassionate care of their patients. Excellent inter-personal skills are essential. A positive and flexible style and approach is necessary, and you must be a team player.
You will be required to work as part of a friendly and supportive team who are creative and enthusiastic, with a track record of continually improving performance.
This post is 18 hours per week part time post.
Main duties of the job
You will be actively involved in providing direct and indirect compassionate care for patients in support of the multidisciplinary team. You will undertake a range of delegated clinical patient care duties and can be expected to work under direct or indirect supervision by a registered practitioner.
The jobholder will assist in the overall implementation and evaluation of care as part of the multi professional team. The jobholder is expected to plan, implement, deliver and maintain high standards of patient care. The jobholder will be skilled in taking appropriate action(s) and acting on own initiative to achieve the planned outcome.
The jobholder will contribute to the maintenance of an environment for effective care.
The jobholder will be expected to work at the Leeds Chest clinic at the LGI site and also in Bronchoscopy at the St James site.
The jobholder will be expected to practice in accordance within Trust policies, guidelines, standards and statutory requirements and operate within defined competency boundaries.
