The closing date is 14 April 2026

Job summary

We are excited to offer a new opportunity for an experienced, motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our expanding Pharmacy Clinical Trials Service as a Band 6 Specialist Technician - Systems Manager.

This specialist role is central to strengthening the digital systems and administrative foundations of our clinical trials service. As the number and complexity of research studies increases, we are investing in roles that improve compliance, enhance efficiency and maximise clinical trials remuneration and this post is a key part of that strategy.

This cross-site post covers LGI, St Jamess and Chapel Allerton Hospital, providing leadership and expertise in data management, invoicing processes and administrative workflow. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, digital systems, quality improvement and leading others.

Experience in clinical trials is desirable but not essential as training and support will be provided.

This role is ideal for technicians who want to broaden their portfolio beyond dispensary operations and step into a technically specialist leadership post.

In this role you will

Lead on the development, maintenance and optimisation of clinical trials tracking systems

Line manage, support and develop the Pharmacy Clinical Trials administrative team
