Job summary
The
Pharmacy Stores & Distribution team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust
provide ward stock medicines top-up and delivery to wards and departments
throughout the Trust via the onsite top-up teams. The Leeds Pharmaceutical Warehouse service
is predominantly concerned with receipt, storage and issue of medicines
orders, with associated stock control activities.

We
are looking to recruit 3 enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals with
drive to undertake the role of Senior Pharmacy Stores Operatives based in the
Pharmacy Stores and Distribution team at LGI MRDU and Moor house Warehouse.
The
successful candidates must be pro-active and flexible in their approach to
working within the busy department and other areas in the Stores and
Distribution Services and have excellent organisational skills.
Main duties of the job
These
posts will support the Senior Team Leaders and Pharmacy Technician
Specialists on the relevant site with the day-to-day delivery of the Pharmacy
Stores and Distribution service, which includes the supervision, organisation
and training of the local Pharmacy Services Assistants on site. This also includes supporting, and working
with, the Pharmacy Stores and Distribution Operations Manager and Pharmacy
Technician Specialists with the implementation of service upgrades and new
projects as required.
For
all posts, this will involve working across ALL sites at Leeds Teaching
Hospitals as required.
Please
be aware that for all posts there is a significant amount of walking and
moving and handling, including bulk consignments.
Applicants
must already hold Level 2 Apprenticeship / NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services.
The
post holder will be required to work evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays on
a rotational basis.

the Trust. Duties will be predominantly concerned with the organisation and
direct supervision of staff and activities; including assembly, supply and
