Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the provision and development of clinical pharmacy services to our adult medicine specialities within unplanned care at Leeds General Infirmary.. You will lead and line manage a team of clinical pharmacists that are responsible for clinical pharmacy across a range of specialities including trauma and orthopaedics, neurology and neurosurgery, cardiology, vascular surgery, adult critical care, ENT/head and neck & plastic surgery
You will develop strategic plans and staffing requirements for pharmacy services to these areas.
You will develop and manage the delivery of pharmacy services to ensure efficient use of resources and systems including monitoring drug expenditure and delivery of financial savings. You will be responsible for the provision of information to CSU's regarding clinical and financial governance, and issues around service delivery and future developments.
