The St James Adult Medicine Team are looking to recruit a motivated advanced clinical pharmacist to lead the services to Adult Respiratory Medicine.

Main duties of the job
You will provide expert Clinical pharmacy input and oversight to our Respiratory Wards, including the respiratory support unit, in addition to supporting our outpatient clinics, such as our TB and interstitial lung disease clinics. The post will give you the opportunity to be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team and to work alongside advanced practitioners and national experts.
You will be committed to leading and developing a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, and take an active role in the education and training of both pharmacy staff and other health care professionals.
There is opportunity to work with the Trust on their exciting discharge collaborative work, ensuring patients are discharged safely and without unnecessary delays.
You will monitor and report on clinical and financial governance of medicines in this specialty, advise on potential improvements and lead on these where appropriate.
