Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the provision and development of clinical pharmacy services to Women's and Children's.
You will lead and line manage a team of clinical pharmacists that are responsible for clinical pharmacy across a range of specialities (including hepatology, nephrology, cystic fibrosis, PICU, neonates, obstetrics, gastro, rheumatology, surgery, pain, palliative care, allergy, immunology, neurology, parenteral nutrition, cardiology, endocrinology and general medicine)
You will work alongside the Lead Pharmacist for Paediatric and Adolescent Oncology and Haematology developing strategic plans and staffing requirements for pharmacy services to these areas.
You will develop and manage the delivery of pharmacy services to ensure efficient use of resources and systems including monitoring drug expenditure and delivery of financial savings. You will be responsible for the provision of information to CSU's regarding clinical and financial governance, and issues around service delivery and future developments.
