Job summary
An
exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated paediatrician
(ST5 or above) with an interest in Paediatric Diabetes to join Leeds Teaching
Hospitals NHS Trust, Childrens Hospital, as a Paediatric Diabetes Fellow,
Paediatric Gastro Fellow, Paediatric Neurology Fellow, Paediatric Endocrinology
Fellow & Paediatric Nephrology Fellow for a period of 12 months commencing
September 2026. These posts would be suitable for a trainee requesting an Out
of Programme Pause from training who would like to train in the care of
children and young people with diabetes, Gastroenterology, Neurology,
Nephrology and Endocrinology disorders.

About us
Leeds
Childrens Hospital has an annual budget of £103 million, inpatient bed base of
286 beds, and delivers 102,000 outpatient appointments and 20,000 inpatient and
day case episodes. The majority of this activity is on the Leeds General
Infirmary site, however there is a Neonatal unit based on the St James Hospital
site.
As
well as general paediatric medicine, LCH provides subspeciality care (oncology,
hepatology and cardiology among others), neonatology and general/specialist
paediatric surgery.
