The Agile Research Delivery Team (ARDT) is looking for a enthusiastic and motivated individual who can provide general administrative support to join a dynamic, mobile team working throughout the Yorkshire and Humber region.

The post holder will be expected to support team members with administrative tasks relating to research study delivery and data management

These posts will be employed through Leeds Teaching Hospitals with the operational base being Wizu Office, 55 St Pauls St, Leeds, LS1 2TE

Main duties of the job

The post will mainly be responsible for such tasks ascreating documentation, spreadsheets and presentations, provide diary oversight for Agile Research Delivery Team Clinical and Senior Clinical Managers and the Head of Research Delivery and Support for Wider Care Settings as required, organising meetings and events relevant to the Agile Research Delivery Team, Support data entry, Provide administrative oversight of the regional Local Portfolio Management System (LMPS). Support with staff recruitment via NHS jobs, Arranging meetings, including sourcing venues, preparing relevant paperwork including agendas and directions. Provide administrative support to other RRDN services and functions as required.

The NIHR RRDNs have three key roles.

First, to provide support to research sites to enable the effective and efficient initiation

and delivery of funded research across the health and care system in England.

Second, to enable the strategic development of new and more effective research

delivery capability and capacity. This includes bringing research to under-served regions

and communities with major health and care needs.

Third, to work jointly with the Coordinating Centre in the strategic oversight of the NIHR

  • Good general standard of education to GCSE level or equivalent including English
  • Diploma level qualification e.g NVQ3/RSA3 etc or equivalent demonstrable experience

Desirable

  • IT qualification or equivalent

  • Good IT skills, to include use of Web applications, Microsoft Office and/or Google
  • Advanced keyboard skills including a high standard of word processing skills
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to accurately input, collate and present information
