West Yorkshire? The Agile Research Delivery Team (ARDT) is looking for an
experienced Nurse/MAHP to join a dynamic mobile team.
The
ARDT works across Secondary Care, Primary Care and Wider Care settings,
delivering a variety of Commercial and Non-Commercial research studies and
trials. The Clinical Manager post would ideally suit someone who has
experience of leading a team in a dynamic environment and/or experience of
delivering clinical research at a senior level.
This
post is employed through Leeds Teaching Hospitals but covers the West
Yorkshire region, which is one of three sub-regions within the Yorkshire and
Humber RRDN region. The operational base will be Leeds City Centre.
The
following areas of expertise are advantageous however not essential,
Commercial Research Delivery with IMP administration, Mental Health,
Community or District Nursing, Supporting those living with Dementia and
Prisons.

Main duties of the job
The
role will mainly be responsible for
The
operational management and leadership of the West Yorkshire ARDT.
Lead
on the contractual arrangements for ARDT staff deployed across NHS and wider
health and care settings, establishing appropriate channels for maintaining
professional accountability.
Overall
Line management for the West Yorkshire based ARDT.
Cover
for other Clinical Managers in the South Yorkshire and Humber & North
Yorkshire sub-regions as required.
Plan,
manage, adjust and deliver a broad range of complex projects, involving
multiple agencies and individuals and a broad range of activities, to tight
deadlines.
The
post holder will be able to communicate confidently in tasks such as public
speaking, influencing, relationship management, project management and will
have good presentation skills.
Regularly
monitor and review the workload of the team to ensure it is manageable and
that there is a reasonable delegation of work.
Supporting
the team to maintain clinical standards and the team members individual
personal professional development.
In
line with the NMC code of conduct, being participant focussed by acting as an
advocate for research participants, duty of care and ensuring participant
safety and providing a positive research experience.
Actively
supporting the delivery of research across a variety of settings including
Commercial and Non-Commercial research.

OF THE RDN
From
October 2024, the NIHR Clinical Research Network became the NIHR Research
Delivery Network (RDN). The RDN continues to support the effective and
efficient initiation and delivery of funded research across the health and
care system in England for the benefit of patients, the health and care
system and the economy, with a name that better reflects the scope and
