Job summary
An
exciting opportunity has arisen for two experienced Senior Project Managers
within the Informatics Department at Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust to cover
maternity leave. This is an
opportunity for highly motivated and professional individuals to join the
project delivery team and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to
deliver digital projects and programmes.
These
posts will support delivery of our ambitious Digital Strategy. You will be an
experienced Project Manager who will work with clinical and non-clinical
stakeholders as well as teams within the Informatics department to deliver
digital projects and programmes. You will lead your project team, coach and
manage junior members and deliver key initiatives. The postholders will be
experienced in utilising appropriate tools and project methodologies whilst
aligning to the departments project delivery lifecycle methodology.

Main duties of the job
The
post holder;
Will manage a set of complex
projects to professional standards.
Support, facilitate and monitor
progress of projects
Support process and performance
improvements
Lead a small team of specialists as
well as providing matrix-management of project staff
Be responsible for developing
Business Cases to secure project funding and subsequent management of these
funds
Will be required to manage and
advise project staff that have day to day responsibility for overseeing the
various elements of implementation, working closely with clinical and
non-clinical teams to introduce new ways of working that are consistent with new
technology
