Platform; a great opportunity for the successful applicant to learn new
skills or enhance on existing skills experience working within an Azure cloud
data environment. This investment will boost the departments capabilities to
increase our delivery and responsiveness right across our services and
develop highly skilled technical and data experts. We are now looking for a
highly skilled candidate with extensive experience as an SQL developer to
apply for the role of Data Warehouse Technical Lead to join us on this
journey.
Main duties of the job
Enhance,
deliver, and maintain the Target Operating Model for the team.
SQL
expert for the team to lead during investigation and development of
requirements.
Influence
the strategic technology decisions through feedback and collaborative working
with all relevant Tech stakeholders.
Maintain
product backlog and act as lead for Data Preparation to support Business
Intelligence analytics and reporting.
Provide
coaching and development of colleagues to create resilience and succession.
Identify
opportunities for innovation through existing or future data capabilities.
Drive
continuous improvement to proactively identify & remove waste from
processes & activities.
Develop
and maintain iterations and stories in support of products and manage
increments and change.
Identify,
manage, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
Identify
and manage risks and issues.

- Degree or equivalent level qualification in a numerate/analytical discipline or equivalent industry experience and some amount of experience ideally in an NHS information management role.
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development, i.e. specialist IM&T training/study/research, attendance at relevant conferences/workshops.
Desirable
- Staff Management, including objective setting, appraisal and PDPs.
