Reporting to the Head of EUC, your role will be fundamental in the continuation of our service improvement programme, along with the development of the team as a whole.

Main duties of the job

Responsibility for the management of the EUC Operations Team, overseeing the Team Leaders and Technicians (23 staff), ensuring the Team is functioning correctly and providing an appropriate level of service to the Trusts 18,000 employees, ensuring that the c. 16,000 devices (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and associated software components) are working optimally.

The postholder will work autonomously on developments and support procedures pertaining to EUC Operations, applying specialist knowledge and experience to a range of complex circumstances to problem solve, develop, and deliver EUC services, being responsible for interpreting standards and existing procedures to identify and implement the most effective solution. Assists in the on-going development of new EUC standards and procedures in line with Trust standards and protocols.

Reporting to the Head of EUC, the post-holder will assist in the training, leadership, and development of the team to become a high performing, fully integrated and professional service.

To deputise for the Head of EUC as required and provide expert advice and operational support across all clinical and corporate functions, working closely with all senior managers, clinical leaders, and staff side organisations to develop and raise professional service standards, working practices, productivity, and capability levels.
