Job summary

DIT intends to review the training provision for the Trusts PAS (Patient Administration System).

As Digital Learning Practitioner you will lead this review. Collaborating with the PAS training facilitators, you will be responsible for:

Revising the content, structure, and delivery methods of the core PAS training provision to ensure it meets the needs of all stakeholders

Designing and building digital versions of all PAS courses and supplemental learning materials

Expanding our emerging Back to Basics PAS refresher training offer

You will report to DITs Digital Training Manager but success will require collaboration with a range of colleagues and stakeholders across the entire Trust. This role is a chance to put your stamp on an operationally-critical training provision, impacting both staff and patient outcomes for years to come.

Main duties of the job

In this role you will:

Conduct a review of the PAS training provision, redesigning its structure and content as necessary to meet our evolving organisational needs.

Digitise PAS training to provide flexible learning opportunities to all staff, regardless of site or working pattern.

Expand an emerging provision of Back to Basics PAS workshops and digital learning interventions, to support improved usage of the software across all CSUs.

Build a digital repository of PAS reference and supplemental material, and design the content hosted within it, so that staff can easily access accurate guidance outside of training.

Review and report on the effectiveness of the revised training provision.
