Reporting
to a Senior Project Analyst your role will include:
supporting the Project Managers and
Senior Project Analysts with the development and delivery of PPM+ related
implementation and training related activities across the LTHT.
Working with both our clinical and
technical customers, ensure that all Implementation related issues are
comprehensively and effectively addressed through proactive and best practice
implementation processes.
Create training materials to support
the implementation
Deliver on-site training, support and
be a point of contact for ward staff during the implementation
Work with the electronic health
record development team and the business analysts to review new functionality
and provide feedback
Update the project planning and
reporting tools, attend team and project meetings

Main duties of the job
Provide
general project implementation support for the EHR Delivery programme team and
assist on the development and delivery of a range of training courses for our
customers needs.
Assist in the delivery of work
packages for project managers both within EHR Delivery and the wider DIT where
there is a PPM+ element.
Provide support to ensure that all
project deliverables and activities are achieved to time and to budget.
To work under the direction of the
project team to ensure project plans are implemented effectively and
operational issues are identified and resolved.
To highlight to the Project Managers
where activity is deviating from the plan and requires remedial action.
Ability to deliver training in a
variety of ways including formal classroom tutor led, one to one and small
group sessions.
Create generic and system specific
training packages and support materials.
To work with healthcare professionals
and help them identify their training requirements and assist in developing
training plans to meet those needs.
To develop appropriate evaluation
methods, assessment of outstanding needs and plan any necessary follow up
training.
Record details of all training
undertaken, assist in the collection of training statistics and to provide
reports as requested.
Assist in managing and maintaining
project records within the in-house Project Management and Reporting system

The post holder will support
the Implementation Manager with the development and delivery of implementation
and training related activities across the LTHT to ensure the successful
implementation of systems and processes as part of national and local DIT
planning. Working with our customers, the post holder will ensure that all

lead role in the delivery of major customer focussed projects and programmes,
focusing on the design, development and delivery of fit for purpose
implementation and training activities necessary to support current and potential
stakeholder requirements.
The post holder will be
responsible for working with clinicians and managers to identify opportunities
to use implementation and training activities to drive innovation and
improvements in service provision, clinical outcomes and business efficiency,
enabling healthcare professionals to access, interpret and make better use of
available information sources.
In addition, the post holder
will take responsibility for the delivery of the implementation and training
aspects of any new DIT systems/Innovation and/or management of specific areas
related to DIT. This includes the vision of moving towards an Electronic
Patient Record/Integrated Care Records through significant transformation,
integration and rationalisation of current DIT systems.
The
overriding purpose is to support the provision of the highest quality patient
care through personal actions and continuous improvement.
