We are looking for a Band 4 Support Team Leader to work in the new Staff Immunisation Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join this new and developing team who are responsible for all staff immunisations offered within the Occupational Health Service. You will work closely with the Clinical Leads and be supported by the Administrative Manager to review current practice and implement new processers during service review and development. You will line manage a small team of two Support Administrative Officer.
All LTHT staff will be offered flu and covid vaccinations this winter to provide protection from these potentially life-threatening diseases. These will be delivered through large clinics at LGI and St James, smaller clinics at the peripheral sites and via a roving team who will visit wards and other areas of work. Other immunisations are offered to specific staff depending on individual risk and role. This is the first time there will be a dedicated team to implement all vaccinations offered which makes this role both challenging and exciting.
This is a 2-year fixed term contract (secondments may be considered) and sits within the Occupational Health Service based in Trust HQ
Main duties of the job
What you will do
Build clinics on Vaccine Track (vaccine booking system) training will be given.
Maintain a daily data dashboard.
Line manage two staff including rota for working across LGI and St James
Maintain accurate data for reporting purposes.
Ensure training records reflected on ESR
Support meeting and diary planning
Support clinicians with IT issues relating to system log ins
Stores ordering and stock control
Admin support at vaccination clinics
IT assurance
Responding to vaccine related questions via telephone or dedicated email.
