The Programme uses standardised data to improve point of care recording across three work streams: Live Beds State, Inventory Management and Real Time Location Systems.
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to lead the work on across the portfolio of Scan4Safety Projects, such as Medical Device Outcome Register, Loan Kits, Integrated Inventory Management, Live Bed State, Real Time Location System. You will need to have a working knowledge of GS1 principles and be able explain their usage to a wide range of staff on a local and regional level. The postholder will work along side the Programme Manager to develop their skills completing training as necessary. This role works as part of a small team within a much larger department.

Main duties of the job
The job holder will use experience and judgement to evaluate complex requirements and implement solutions that are consistent with the Trusts strategy. The post holder is responsible for developing Business Cases to secure project funding and the subsequent financial management and budgetary control of these funds. The post holder will fully manage a group of specialist staff that will project manage the various work streams of the implementation programme, working closely with clinical and non-clinical teams to introduce new ways of working that are consistent with the strategy. Integral to the post is the ability to collect meaningful data based on multifaceted Supplier product information. Once collected the post holder would be expected to manipulate the information by means of in depth analysis.
