Were looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our Contracts Team within Estates & Facilities. Although the job role is administrative, you will also need to be out on site visiting other departments or our accommodation properties.

In this role youll support the management of contracts and help us to provide crucial services to our patients, staff and visitors.

Youll work with external contractors and internal colleagues to ensure the services we deliver meet the needs of our clinical colleagues and patients across the entirety of Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

This could include working with our linen contractor, catering suppliers, pest control and more. Your careful administrative skills and attention to detail will play a big part in ensuring we can deliver safe and effective care at Leeds.

The successful candidate will have great time management and organisational skills, using their initiative to prioritise work and meet deadlines.

There is also a requirement to move between sites to speak to our contractors in addition to managing administrative tasks, therefore you will be required to be mobile and on your feet for some of your day.

This will be a dynamic and fast-changing role, but for the right person offers an excellent development opportunity in one the largest and most complex Trusts in the country.

  • GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Must be willing to attend relevant training courses

Desirable

  • Basic computer/typing qualifications

Experience

  • Knowledge of a wide range of administrative procedures including finance
  • Knowledge of databases and how to generate reports
  • Competent in word processing, spreadsheet packages and in using database.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the NHS Work experience in a health or social care setting
  • Personal or work experience of working with diversity eg. disabled people, people from different cultures
