Job summary

Were looking for someone with specialist knowledge in electrical and mechanical engineering who wants to make a genuine difference to our Estates Department at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. In this rewarding and entrusted position, youll need good IT skills, be responsible for assigning maintenance work and undertaking day-to-day operation of our Computer-Aided Facility Management system. The role is focussed asset capture and review of the estates plant & equipment through the works management system, ensuring we have a comprehensive asset list to achieve a fully maintained auditable estate. Youll be working with a huge range of colleagues, including clinical staff, to support them in delivering excellent patient care, so strong communication skills are essential. Leeds Teaching Hospitals is a large organisation with a huge portfolio of property, equipment, and systems. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take on a varied role, be responsible for ensuring safe systems of work are maintained in line with HTM's and recognised codes of practice by carrying out Authorised Person Duties.

The job package includes: -

A competitive salary

pro rata Band 6 £38,682-£46,580 to reflect 2025/2026 pay award (Inc. enhancements for unsocial hours.) Annual leave starting at pro rata 27 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays rising to 33 days with service. In-house training schemes
