Our Growing Radiotherapy Research Team!
The
Research and Innovation Department at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is
continuing its exciting expansion, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and
motivated Band 7 Senior Research Allied Health Professional to join our
Radiotherapy Research portfolio.
This
is a part-time, permanent post (0.5 WTE) based at Bexley Wing, St Jamess
University Hospital, Leeds.
We
are seeking a proactive, self-motivated individual with a passion for
research and a commitment to improving patient care through innovation.
The
post holder will work closely with:
Industry partners including commercial Sponsors
Radiotherapy Clinical Team, including Principal and Chief Investigators
The NIHR Clinical Research Network (Yorkshire & Humber)
Regional and national colleagues, attending meetings and contributing to
collaborative research development.
This

Main duties of the job
As
the Senior Research AHP, you will:
Lead and coordinate clinical research within the Radiotherapy Research Team,
ensuring studies are delivered to the highest standards.
Provide professional, clinical, and managerial leadership, supporting and
developing the Radiotherapy Research delivery staff.
Drive excellence in clinical care, ensuring patient safety, experience, and
satisfaction remain at the forefront of all research activity.
You
will play a key role in shaping and enhancing the performance of the
Radiotherapy Research portfolio, acting as a role model and mentor within the
team.

Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Nurse (RN Adult or RN Child or Midwife for Childrens areas), Midwife or HCPC registered AHP, or AHCS voluntary (including CRP) or statutory (including Clinical Scientist) registered
- Degree, or working towards, or equivalent professional experience
- Recognised post-registration qualification in speciality
- Recognised teaching/assessing qualification
- Evidence of effective professional and leadership development
Desirable
- Non-Medical Prescribing (in some specific roles this may be an essential requirement)
