Are you an existing Band 6 looking for a new challenge or an experienced band 5 with significant clinical experience?
The Respiratory and Sleep Service in Leeds is home to innovative, advanced practice which enhances the lives of patients with conditions such as MND, NMD, COPD and sleep disordered breathing. This is delivered by an award winning and research active team. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Sleep Service with a specialist band 6 to work in both our CPAP service for treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea and our Home Ventilation service. The role is based mainly in outpatients with some inpatient work and home visits.
We have various hours posts (full-time or part time hours) for a 12 months fixed term contract maternity cover. This can also be a secondment as a rotational post.

Main duties of the job
The ideal candidate has excellent communication and organisational skills and a passion for delivering the highest standard of care. You will be able to use the latest technology to provide treatment while maintaining the human touch. Youre not only a team player but also able to work and think independently. Some expertise in respiratory & sleep medicine would be desirable but is not essential.
You must have a clean current driving licence and access to a vehicle. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual who demonstrates all these characteristics to join our team.
