We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person who has a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join the leadership team on J11. The CSU is expanding to develop a respiratory medically optimised for discharge ward and as a new team member you will have the opportunity to support the team to deliver high quality patient care, support medically optimised for discharge patients and develop your leadership skills.
J11 is the respiratory medically optimised for discharge ward working with a range of patients from throughout the trust of whom range from complex discharges to home with help and support.
J11 is a 30 bedded mixed gender ward working with a wide range of patient illness from throughout the LTHT Trust.
When working on J11 you will be working with a wide range of allied health professionals working together with the sole purpose of ensuring a safe and comfortable discharge with the patient at the heart of the service.

Main duties of the job
Exciting developments are taking place in respiratory medicine and this is the opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in leadership and change management to be at the forefront of these developments. Excellent communication skills are paramount, as is the ability to forge good working relationships with the wider multi-disciplinary team. The post is full-time covering a twenty-four hour service.
