As the regional cardiac centre, Leeds is equipped with six newly refurbished cardiac catheter labs and a paediatric hybrid lab, offering a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to assist in routine and complex angioplasty procedures including PPCI.

As a qualified Cardiac Physiologist, you will also play a key role in supporting the development of trainees and junior staff members, contributing to their ongoing education and professional growth.

You will be part of a collaborative team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, efficient services. While we promote autonomous practice, there is always support available from specialist and consultant colleagues. The department holds a monthly governance and audit meeting where complex cases are reviewed, and ongoing training is provided to ensure staff are up-to-date with the latest equipment and technology.

If you are looking to further your career as a Healthcare Scientist, we encourage you to apply.
