As part of the Corporate Cancer Team, you will provide vital administrative support, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, timely and patient-focused cancer care. You will play a key role in preparing, organising and supporting MDT meetings, helping to progress patient pathways for those with a cancer diagnosis or suspected cancer.

Main duties of the job
The roles involve providing high-quality administrative support to the Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) process. This includes preparing, producing and distributing patient lists for discussion at MDT meetings, accurately capturing outcomes during meetings through live typing directly into patients medical records, and confidently using medical terminology.
You will play a key role in tracking each patients journey from GP referral through to treatment. This includes ensuring required datasets are collated and accurately recorded in line with local and national standards, including Cancer Outcomes & Services Dataset (COSD), Cancer Waiting Times, Chemotherapy and National Audit data (this list is not exhaustive).
The post-holder must demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively and use their own initiative. Strong IT skills, administrative experience and a high level of attention to detail are essential.
