We
are looking to recruit a highly motivated enthusiastic Data Support
Co-Ordinator. If you enjoy working in a team, have demonstrably robust
data/IT skills & the drive/passion to help us shape & change cancer
service provision, we have a unique opportunity for you.
The
Corporate Cancer Team supports & facilitate services to enhance quality
& improvement to deliver timely, patient focused cancer care. We oversee
and support multiple local/ nationally driven projects & other
innovations across LTHT, WY&H Cancer Alliance & partner
organisations. These initiatives are fundamentally driven by data, where this
role will be pivotal. We are committed to working in line with the values

Whilst
the ability to work within a team is critical, being able to work on your own
initiative will be key to your success in this role. The post is currently a
fixed term 12 month role. We would also welcome individuals who may apply as
a secondment opportunity to broaden their knowledge and experience.
The
core hours will be Monday to Friday between 8 and 4, flexibility of work
hours may be taken into consideration.

Main duties of the job
We
are looking for someone who can support the project and management team in
collecting and collating data across a range of cancer services and then help
interpret/present the data to a variety of audiences across the different
projects and quality reviews (this might be as a written report or at times
verbally). Some of this will be manual collection of data at patient level
and some will be drawing from cancer reports already available in PPM1 (Our
patient pathway management portal).
You
must be able to demonstrate a good range of interpersonal and communication
skills with a can do attitude. You must be an expert in the use of Excel
and PowerBi and be able to demonstrate production and presentation of
dashboards/Information.
