Job summary

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is looking to recruit a Performance Coordinator to join the Performance Team on a 6-month secondment working 2 days per week.The role involves supporting the performance Team within Corporate Operations and would be an ideal opportunity for anyone wishing to have exposure to the new key programmes of work and Trust wide developments.

The role of the Performance Coordinator will provide analytical and administrative support for the monitoring and reporting of performance standards and key operational metrics.You will have excellent IT skills with a detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to interpret report and escalate opportunities and risks within service delivery.You need to be an excellent team player, with well-developed communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Job responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of efficient and effective processes to support the delivery of the Integrated Accountability Framework process across all 19 CSUs within LTHT. They will work with the ADOPs and Performance team, Finance, HR, Quality and CSU colleagues, being responsible for the overall coordination of the IAF meeting schedule, performance packs/ data content, collation and circulation, meeting recording, action agreement and ensuring action updating by CSU/ IAF meeting members as well as collation of key themes/ actions for Performance Team attention.

They will be responsible for the day to day delivery of the Integrated Accountability meeting programme. The post holder will ensure the provision of a highly effective administration service to the Performance and ADOP team ensuring Integrated Accountability meetings schedule is in place, it is communicated to the wider senior operations team, and that content of the meetings/ papers required are regularly reviewed and are circulated to all members in a timely manner. PRINCIPAL DUTIES & AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

They will be responsible for the development of and delivery of the Integrated Accountability Framework and Integrated Accountability CSU Meetings.

Support the Integrated Accountability review process with production of supporting data into underlying CSU performance issues ensuring recorded actions are followed up and outcome recorded. Escalation to the relevant ADOP, CSU triumvirate or Performance and Development Manager of any outstanding action points to be addressed.
