Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the
childrens haemophilia and bleeding disorders team as a Band 6 Clinical Nurse
Specialist on a part-time two year secondment. This development role offers
protected time for clinical practice, service development, and specialist
training in haemophilia and inherited bleeding disorders. You will provide
expert nursing care, coordinate multidisciplinary clinics, deliver family
centred education, support transition pathways, and contribute to audit,
guideline development, and quality improvement projects.
Main duties of the job
We
seek an experienced paediatric nurse with excellent communication skills,
evidence of post registration development, and a commitment to improving
outcomes for children and young people. Experience in venepuncture, central
line care, and infusion therapy is desirable. You will receive mentorship,
access to specialist training, and opportunities to lead service initiatives.
