We
are looking for an energetic and well motivated individual with excellent
organisational and interpersonal skills to join the Leeds Childrens Hospital
Management Team as a Service Manager, managing multiple specialties within
the Childrens Hospital.
Leeds
Childrens Hospital covers 27 medical and surgical specialties and is one of
the largest specialist childrens hospitals in the country. We have over 20
inpatient wards, employ over 800 nurses and last year held over 170,000
outpatient appointments and treated over 25,000 surgical patients both
electively/non-electively.
We

Trust and primary care in Leeds, secondary care providers across Yorkshire

Main duties of the job
The
Service Manager role is a key member of our Leeds Childrens Hospital
Management Team who will manage a complex programme of interdependent
projects across more than one Business Unit to ensure development of
financially affordable solutions to capacity and quality constraints in Leeds
Childrens Hospital, based at Leeds General Infirmary. This will enable the
development, delivery and maintenance of all access targets ensuring clinical
pathways are as efficient and effective as possible for our patients. Working
in partnership with clinical staff, commissioners, managers and users, the
post holder will lead the redesign of services and business processes and be
responsible for facilitating the involvement of all stakeholders to ensure
timescales are met and service benefits realised.
