We are seeking a professional, motivated and hardworking team player to join our Paediatric Allergy Team at Leeds Childrens Hospital. The post holder will assist in the co-ordination and the provision of an effective and efficient clerical service within the Paediatric Allergy scheduling team based at Leeds General Infirmary.

The successful applicant should possess excellent communication skills, a desire to learn and be part of a successful team. Applicants should have previous administration and clerical experience, NHS experience is desirable but not essential, be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) and have good computer and digital skills.

This post is based in a busy, friendly department, and you will be expected to prioritise and undertake multiple tasks. The ability to work on your own initiative, as well as within a team is required.

This post is full time (37.5 hours) and has flexible working with an element of remote working and a base in Leeds Childrens Hospital.

Main duties of the job

This role provides a high standard of clerical service , adhering to departmental guidelines and policies.

To undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties which will include receiving and checking documentation, reports and patient information, processing appropriately within departmental guidelines, entering information onto the appropriate IT system and retrieving information as and when required.
