Job summary

We are seeking an experienced self-motivated, hardworking person who works to a high professional standard and is used to working on their own initiative to join the Paediatric Respiratory/Cystic Fibrosis service at Leeds Childrens Hospital. The post holder will assist in the co-ordination and the provision of an effective and efficient clerical service within the Paediatric service at Leeds Childrens Hospital.

The successful applicant should possess good organisational and communication skills and be computer literate.

Applicants should have previous administration and clerical experience, NHS experience is desirable but not essential, and be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent).

This post is based in a busy, friendly department at Leeds Childrens Hospital, and you will be expected to prioritise and undertake multiple tasks. The ability to work on your own initiative, but at the same time as an integral part of a team is essential.

This role provides a high standard of clerical service and, where necessary, reception duties to the department, adhering to departmental guidelines and policies.

To undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties which will include receiving and checking documentation, reports and patient information, processing appropriately within departmental guidelines, entering information onto the appropriate IT system and retrieving information as and when required.

The Paediatric Respiratory team are looking for an enthusiastic Clerical Officer to come and our team.

The post will be based at Leeds ChildrensResp Hospital.
