initiative.
Applicants
should be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
including all levels of hospital staff and patients. You should have
excellent communication skills and organisational skills. You must be able to
work as part of a team, be able to manage your own workload, use your own initiative,
work to tight deadlines, and have the ability to work under pressure and be
committed to providing an efficient service for our patients.
This is a part time post 18.5 hours.
Main duties of the job
The
successful candidate must be able to provide a comprehensive administrative/secretarial
service to the Gender Identity Development Service within Leeds Childrens
Hospital.
The
post holder must be able to communicate sensitively and effectively with a
wide range of people including patients, families, medical staff, and the
wider multi-disciplinary team and have experience of typing.

caters to every paediatric sub-specialty under one roof. It also has close links
with the adult hospital, within the same building, which enables smooth
transition of care from paediatrics to adults.
