An exciting opportunity has arisen at chapel Allerton Hospital, C5 Day Case Unit.
We are looking for a forward thinking motivated & enthusiastic Ward Clerk to join our team.
C5 is a Dermatology/Rheumatology specialty, the department provides predominantly Intravenous Infusions for our patients. Within our department we treat approximately 160 patients each week. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual to join our team on a permanent basis. The varied workload requires a flexible approach to work and the ability to multi-task, whilst maintaining a professional attitude and high standards of customer care.

Main duties of the job
As well as providing a comprehensive service across the full spectrum of Dermatological and Rheumatic diseases. The department is one of the largest rheumatology training centres in the world and provides a central hub for clinical Rheumatology research in Yorkshire with links to Leeds University.
We are recruiting a 30hour position, you will be joining a friendly diverse team with hours available 08.00-18.00hrs Monday to Friday. We will support flexible working hours and open to discuss a working pattern that may work for you.
You will undertake administrative duties at ward level including the accurate and timely recording of patient activity data on Trust systems. To undertake clerical and related duties on the ward and enable Sister/Charge Nurse and other ward staff to concentrate more freely on direct patient care. This will involve considerable liaison with other departments and wards on behalf of the ward staff.
