Job summary
An
exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen to join the Chapel Allerton
Clinical Service Unit (CSU). We are looking for a focused and highly
motivated individual to join the management team in the role of Business
Manager with a key focus on day to day operational management and service
improvement, predominately working within the Dermatology and Elective
Orthopaedic services, but will be required to work across the CSU as part of
the wider management team.
Main duties of the job
This
post is pivotal in providing key operational and business management support
to ensure the delivery of a quality, patient focused service. The post holder
will join an established and supportive management team in the CSU and will
be required to work with management and clinical teams within the CSU
The
post holder will be required to manage the day to day operational aspects of
service delivery, with a focus on achieving and monitoring access performance
and service improvement alongside budgetary responsibilities. The post holder
will be required to develop professional relationships with a wide range of
key stakeholders in order to support the business functions of the CSU.
The
ideal candidate will have business acumen, with knowledge of an operational
management environment with a particular focus on developing and delivering
business plans, achieving key performance targets including access and
financial targets. The post holder will be able to lead and support a
motivated team to ensure successful delivery.

and clerical staff and will ensure that services are delivered within budget
