Job summary

Reporting to the DIT Marketing & Communications Manager, youll take the lead in the day-to-day delivery of communications to support the upgrade of a major IT system at the Trust. Youll work with colleagues to develop and manage a communications plan, focusing on leading the creation and delivery of effective internal and external communications through digital and offline channels.

Main duties of the job

Oversee all communications planning and delivery for the PAS Programme, advising and supporting the Programme team in all aspects of communications.

Overall responsibility for building and producing a high quality, engaging communications toolkit that maintains a consistent style, and includes a variety of materials that can be used across multiple channels.

Take a lead role in the operational delivery of a range of internal communications including writing and producing publications, intranet content; screen savers; organising and managing staff events and using social media to engage and promote staff.

Develop and maintain processes, procedures and plans that underpin the efficient running of the PAS communications team including contact databases; communications monitoring and evaluation systems; forward planning systems; style & brand guide etc.

Research, write, edit and produce a range of communications materials.
