Unable to skill mix due the post holder requiring significant knowledge of student training programmes, assessment and leadership skills. The role involves liaison with daily and weekly supervisors; communication with HEIs as part of planning and with PLL and PLF where issues arise and awareness of when are escalations required to CDMs. The leadership, communication and planning skills required equates to a Band 7 dietitian

Main duties of the job

This senior role provides strategic and operational leadership for apprentice programs and dietetic placements across the Trust, ensuring a supportive learning environment, and excellent learning experience.You will play a key role in shaping the future dietetic workforce by leading placement quality initiatives, coordinating safe and inclusive learning environments, supervising and assessing learners, and acting as the central point of expertise for dietetic apprentice and student education within the service.This post is ideal for an experienced clinician with a strong interest in education, quality improvement, and workforce development.We are a supportive, forward thinking department committed to high quality patient care and education and provide opportunities for leadership development, CPD opportunities and flexible working to support staff wellbeing
