We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to the right candidate to join our dynamic endoscopy service as a Clinical governance coordinator. You will work closely alongside the Lead nurse for quality and governance, endoscopy matron and the wider Abdominal Medicines and Surgery (AMS) quality team, helping to ensure that our services are safe, effective and person centred.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will assist and support the senior team in ensuring the delivery of CSU wide compliance with statutory, mandatory and national clinical governance standards and support the team to ensure good clinical governance practice across the services. You will help embed processes and systems and provide assurance that we are consistently meeting our high standards.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible for supporting the Lead Quality Nurse and Governance Lead to facilitate the on-going accreditation and development of the quality systems within Endoscopy. The post holder will support the CSU Triumvirate team by ensuring availability of data and records as required. The post holder will support other colleagues within the CSU as required. The post holder will be involved in the development and maintenance of audit schedules, service improvements and root cause analysis. There will be a requirement to work in collaboration with colleagues across the region under WYAAT to maintain safe systems of work for patients that are transferred in and out of LTHT for care and treatment prior to being re patriated with their home team. The post holder will have the confidence and skill base to coordinate regional meetings, take minutes and facilitate online presentations and access for colleagues participating remotely.
