If
you are looking for a career in Critical Care Nursing we have an exciting
opportunity for band 5 Staff Nurses with post registration experience and
newly qualified Staff Nurses that have had a placement within their
University studies in a Critical Care environment to join our Adult Critical
Care Teams.

Critical Care units are;

Surgical- Oncology Critical Care, St James University Hospital

Neurosurgical Critical Care, Leeds General Infirmary

General Critical Care, Leeds General Infirmary

Cardiac Critical Care, Leeds General Infirmary
We
are looking for experienced, dynamic, motivated, compassionate staff Nurses
who can ensure the consistent delivery of high quality patient centred care
to the patients nursed within our critical care units. The successful
candidates will be expected to work clinically within the multi-disciplinary
team, maintain high standards of practice and deliver outstanding critical
care.

Main duties of the job
If

provide and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and
evaluation of individualised programmes of care.
To deliver care without supervision.
To take charge of the ward or
department as necessary in the absence of the Sister or Charge Nurse.
To participate in the in-service
training, preceptorship and mentorship of junior staff, post basic learners and
students.
To take responsibility as the prime
care provider for a group of patients.
To promote confidence in our
commitment to provide excellent compassionate patient care.
