We
are seeking to recruit a motivated Administrator
to
join the Corporate Planning team working across the
Leeds
Teaching Hospitals NHS Trusts main and peripheral sites.

This
Project Administrator post shall provide general but professional comprehensive
administrative assistance to members of the Corporate Planning team on a day to day basis and in the delivery of LTHT Projects.
It
is expected that the Project Administrator shall develop an understanding of
the projects they are providing support for which will focus on the
development of both clinical and non-clinical projects across the
organisation,

Main duties of the job
Working
within a multi-disciplined project-based environment, the post holder shall
provide a wide and varied range of project administrative support to the Corporate Planning team
The
Building, Engineering and Medical & Scientific capital programmes reflect the Trusts vision of the delivery
of patient focussed services in a modern and fit-for-purpose world-class
healthcare setting.
The Project
Administrator shall, in addition to providing day to day support for the corporate planning team be expected to support the team with some project administration (more details in the Job Description and Personal Specification

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and in particular: MS Word; MS PowerPoint; MS Excel; and MS Outlook.
- Competent using spreadsheets Knowledge of administration procedures including the use of IT systems used to manage projects and workload
- Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, clearly and effectively with a range of people
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work both independently planning and organising own workload as well as collaboratively as part of a team, prioritising workload,
- Working under pressure, multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
- Must be able to work on site (office or project site) at least 3 days per week
- Able to work across various LTHT sites
- Driving licence desirable

- Understanding of the Day to Day Role of Project Administrator within the Corporate Planning Dept
- Experience of working within an administrative environment
- Scheduling and co-ordinating meetings and appointments / Diary management
- Making and co-ordinating arrangements for internal and external meetings, events and any other such related activities
- Supporting the preparation of agendas, meeting information and meeting papers for the Corporate Planning and other senior staff; attending the meetings; taking and preparing minutes/actions and following-up on actions
- Supporting the administrative functions of the corporate Planning Dept on a day to day basis, including the placing or orders, invoicing, dealing with payment queries etc
- Implementing and working on developing office systems and procedures
- Assisting with the collation and preparation of relevant information for reporting purposes
- Dealing with general ad hoc queries relating to the department
- The upkeep of Email Groups and Planning information, CSU Ward contacts, bed numbers, inpatient and outpatient information, processes etc
- Working with the general public; external health and non-health related organisations and liaising with healthcare professionals

- Understanding of the NHS and LTHT
- Basic understanding of construction projects
- Basic understanding of Project Management processes

- Foundation degree or NVQ level 4 to 5
- or relevant experience
