Job summary
The advertised post is suitable for individuals who aim to pursue a career in Emergency Medicine and who wish to develop their interest in teaching. Ideally the successful applicant will have completed Foundation Training (or equivalent) as the post is suitable for a doctor who would function at Tier 1 level, (SHO grade/Junior Clinical Teaching Fellow).
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be involved in coordinating and delivering the Newcastle University Undergraduate Medicine clinical teaching programme. A close working relationship with the Undergraduate Medical Education Coordinator ensures a well-structured teaching experience for undergraduate medical trainees. The advertised post of Clinical Teaching Fellow (CTF) is tenable for a fixed term of 12 months commencing August 2026. Please note that this vacancy is only open to applicants with a minimum of 24 months NHS experience at time of start date.
