Job summary
An exciting opportunity to join the Quality and Service Improvement Team at South of Tyne and Wear Pathology services for 6 months. As part of the team the post holder will have developed knowledge, experience and competency in Quality Management Systems being able to work unsupervised in performing their role. It is a primary role of the post to monitor, train and provide specialist advice to staff on all aspects of the Quality Management System used by Gateshead Clinical Pathology Services. The post holder will support all Pathology disciplines to maintain all aspects of the quality management system to ensure a successful UKAS visit in July.
Main duties of the job
Provide training on all aspects of the quality management system e.g Document Control, Audit, Asset, Competency Training
Monitor compliance of KPI's using data analysis and Power BI reports and conduct departmental 1-1s for accountability
Conduct audits on all areas of the quality management system
Support all pathology disciplines in their quality activities
Support service improvement initiatives using collated feedback
