Job summary
As a state-registered Clinical Scientist, with Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists, the post-holder will participate in the department's clinical advisory and reporting service. The postholder will deputise for the Hub Director and provide Scientific, Clinical and Managerial support for the Bowel Cancer Screening, Symptomatic FIT service and Point of Care. The post holder will support the Hub Director in ensuring the quality and accuracy of the service, reporting results and providing specialist advice and support to users of the Bowel Cancer Screening programme (BCSP) services. They will maintain and contribute to the services provided by the department in terms of standards, quality and clinical effectiveness, audit and training.
