Job summary
.An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the bank at Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate would be expected to work as part of the Multi disciplinary team to deliver high standards of patient care responsive to patient's needs.
The post holder will possess the ability to be able to work alone and with the wider supporting team, and work collaboratively with external agencies. You will be expected to demonstrate and role model the uppermost professional standards.
Availability of Bank work may fluctuate and there is no commitment to specific hours of work however applications are sought from individuals who can offer regular and consistent support.

Main duties of the job
- Provide personal care for patients.
- Manual handling.
- To help maintain a clean and safe department.
- Ability to recognise the signs of the deteriorating patient and alert qualified staff accordingly.
- Maintain accurate record keeping and documentation within patients' records, integrated care pathways and electronic systems.
- The overall purpose of the post holder will be to provide support the registered nursing team.
