Senior Biomedical Scientist (Band 7) - Biochemistry
This is an exciting opportunity for a well-motivated and enthusiastic senior Biomedical Scientist to support the development of the UKAS accredited South of Tyne Clinical Pathology Services Biochemistry Department. The post holder will contribute to the provision of the Biochemistry service across the three hospital sites; Gateshead, Sunderland and South Tyneside. The successful candidate must be committed to quality and improvement and posess the following qualities:

- Sound technical knowledge
- The necessary experience to undertake the challenging role
The department has state of the art equipment and technology and prides itself on being forward thinking and innovative. It also has a proven track record in staff training and development.
The successful candidate will be required to rotate across all laboratory sites and participate in the department's shift pattern.
